The aim of LDS Kindle Books is two-fold:
  1. Provide free LDS books to Kindle owners

  2. Alert Kindle owners about new LDS books available in Kindle format.

The types of FREE publications include Gospel resources published by LDS.org in Kindle compatible formats, LDS General Conference talks, and LDS books which are free from copyright.

Linked books generally include publications from Deseret Book released for the Kindle or books by LDS authors produced by other publishers.

Share your Kindle Account with your Family

I just learned that an Amazon account can share books across 5 or 6 devices and that this applies to multiple Kindles.

With the new Kindle coming out, it may not be a bad idea to pick up a second and share books.

Just a thought for any dual-Kindle homes!

For it to work, both Kindles must be registered to the same account. Also, this only works for books; magazine and newspaper subscriptions are specific to the Kindle they are purchased for.

Another consideration is that if both of you are reading the same book on your Kindles, Amazon syncs your spot across the multiple devices. So if both of you are at different spots in the book, you may mess each other up. The way to get around that is to go on Amazon and go to Manage My Kindle, go to the bottom of the page and turn off Synchronization between devices.
