  2. Alert Kindle owners about new LDS books available in Kindle format.

The types of FREE publications include Gospel resources published by LDS.org in Kindle compatible formats, LDS General Conference talks, and LDS books which are free from copyright.

Linked books generally include publications from Deseret Book released for the Kindle or books by LDS authors produced by other publishers.

Black Friday Kindle


For those of you looking to get a Kindle, Amazon will have the second generation Kindles available for $89.  This version comes with 3G, but does not have wireless connectivity like the current version.

According to Twitter
Black Friday Deal: Limited number of previous gen Kindle (same E Ink as current Nook) for just $89! Deal starts 11/26 at 9 am PST.
What will you miss if you get this rather than the current version ($139 / $189)?  WiFi, increased contrast ratio, speed, smaller size, more storage capacity, etc.



If you want 3G, this is a great deal.  If you want WiFi, you'll need to get a new Kindle.
