Fictional Account of Book of Mormon Characters

Heather B. Moore has created a variety of fictional accounts related to Book of Mormon characters.

I have not read these yet, but they have always caught my eye and the ratings look great!

If you wish to learn more about the other characters, I'd highly recommend Bad Guys of the Book of Mormon.

Bad Guys of the Book of Mormon

Bad Guys of the Book of Mormon was recently released for Kindle.  The title made me laugh so I decided to check it out.  I was pleasantly surprised with this book.  It's written for teenagers, but I find that I enjoy those the most! (Remember the Tennis Shoes series?)

I was hooked when I read the introduction to this book, so be sure to check out the sample below!

Free Kindle Standard Works

Amazon.com lists several different versions of the scriptures available for the Kindle.

Update: The church has published a .mobi version of the standard works here.

However, you can also find a free set of the scriptures at LDSPocket.com. Click on the fourth link under standard works for a Kindle version.

Also, see the previous post Free Book of Mormon if you wish to have different copies of the Book of Mormon for different occasions - keeping your place with family, personal study, etc.

Update: Unfortunately this site no longer exists - the idea is that you download multiple copies and rename them.

Have you found any other versions that you would recommend? Tell us about them in the comments below.

Free Book of Mormon on Kindle

Creating Kindle books can be quite fun and a bit of an art. LDS Kindle-user DS Lawrence created a kindle version of the Book of Mormon for free downloading. He lists three different versions in case you want to keep track of your reading in three different spots:
